Tierra Verde (TV) has for decades been a favorite location on an East and South East wind. Long runs, good flat water conditions, 1M – 2M water depth in most places and access to deep water closer to the boat channel but really not a great option for foiling. It can be done but be very careful and only on a high tide.
Take the Pinellas Bayway and look for turnoff on the left just before you reach the bridge (27°41’53.7″N 82°42’53.3″W).
Access to the Peninsula Beach – Turn right just before the bridge and follow the dirt road under and around the bridge. Plenty of parking under the bridge. You will need to carry your equipment out to the beach as vehicles are prohibited. About a 100 yard walk with equipment.
Weed fin is recommended due to the abundance of sea grass.
